Pricing Modelling Associate Director Role

We are seeking a pricing practitioner with experience in the UK and French general insurance markets, primarily in personal lines, with commercial lines experience considered a plus.

  • Delivering best-in-class pricing and underwriting capability reviews
  • Building effective pricing models, tools, and processes using a wide range of data science techniques
  • Designing and building sophisticated MI and portfolio management capabilities
  • Leveraging market knowledge to develop innovative pricing solutions in collaboration with various teams
Key Responsibilities:
  • Build a market profile as a representative and advocate of Willis Towers Watson pricing consulting services and technology solutions
  • Manage substantial work streams in large projects, ensuring effective communication with clients
  • Work collaboratively on a range of projects and manage priorities appropriately
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with client contacts through effective communication
  • Engage in varied work to maintain and develop a broad skill set
  • Interface with colleagues from other practices and regions on assignments
  • Contribute to the development of the company's intellectual capital
  • Develop and present proposals to potential clients, demonstrating the economic value of the company's offerings
  • Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams
  • Serve as line manager or mentor to junior associates

Please note this role can be based in either Reigate or London, and will require flexibility to travel between these locations as well as to Paris if necessary.

Requirements:
  • Fluent in French (either mother tongue or fluent)
  • Pricing experience in a UK or French general insurance firm (personal or commercial lines)
  • Advocate for the development of analytical approaches and the adoption of new techniques, including data science, machine learning, and AI
  • Solid experience with data manipulation packages (SAS, SQL, WPS, etc.)
  • Experience with Python is desirable
  • Strong interpersonal and team skills
  • Excellent project management skills
