Job Title: School Holiday Play and Wellbeing Site Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a School Holiday Play and Wellbeing Site Supervisor. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of play-based activities during school holidays, ensuring the smooth operation of our Play and Wellbeing Camps, Food and Fun Camps, and playschemes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a small team of staff and volunteers to deliver play-based activities within a provision that encourages positive mental and physical wellbeing.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality play-based activities that meet the needs of children and young people.
  • Work closely with colleagues to develop and implement play-based activities that promote positive wellbeing.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of play-based activities and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of children and young people at all times.

Requirements:

  • Attainment of or working towards a relevant level 3 qualification in Playwork, Youthwork, Early Years Care or equivalent.
  • A good understanding of the importance of play for children, young people, and the wider community.
  • Previous experience of working with children and young people.

Desirable:

  • Proven experience in Playwork/Youthwork/Early Years or equivalent.
  • Experience of supporting staff and passing on relevant information.
  • Previous practical experience/involvement in delivering appropriate stimulating play activities and opportunities for children with a range of abilities.
