  • Liaise with general practice, the community mental health team, psychology, and third sector colleagues to ensure the appropriate service is available to the individual.
  • Work autonomously and as part of a wider multidisciplinary team, with robust support and supervision.
  • Provide leadership and supervision to colleagues.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication systems and participate in managerial and clinical meetings.
  • Engage service users and carers in all aspects of care delivery and evaluation.
  • Support the development of networks with staff working in other agencies that provide services to service users with complex mental health needs.

  • Ability to organize and prioritize own workload under pressure.
  • Ability to undertake holistic mental health and risk assessment with service users with mental health needs, formulate effective care plans, relapse prevention interventions, and safety plans.
  • Extensive experience of working in partnership with service users, carers, and other agencies.
  • Extensive experience in undertaking specialist mental health and risk assessment, with the ability to demonstrate and share these skills with other team members.
  • Highly skilled in all aspects of clinical communication, including the maintenance of accurate records.
  • Ability to demonstrate and apply a highly skilled level of clinical and professional supervision.
