Job Summary:

STS Aviation Services is a rapidly growing company in the aviation industry, and we are seeking a highly skilled Material Coordinator to join our team. As a Material Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics and supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and control all stock requests using PROMRO, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Take ownership of the shortage sheet, ensuring all requests are actioned within the required time limits.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate stock transfers between STS locations as needed.
  • Mark items for purchase when required, ensuring efficient inventory management.
  • Liaise with procurement to ensure purchase requests are conducted within agreed time frames.
  • Ensure the shortage sheet is always up-to-date and accurate.
  • Provide detailed handover briefs between shifts, ensuring seamless communication.
  • Add customer information relating to stock to the shortage sheet in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Provide Supply Chain reporting as required, analyzing data to inform business decisions.
  • Drive stock cost-saving measures, aligning with KPIs to optimize inventory management.
  • Liaise with other departments as needed, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Stand in for STS Material Coordinators at other sites when required, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility.
  • Meet with customers regularly, ensuring excellent customer service and relationship management.
  • Represent STS to the highest standard at all times, embodying the company's values and mission.
  • Record all customer stock requirements, ensuring the shortage sheet is an accurate reflection of these.
  • Liaise with customers outside of meetings to maintain accurate information flow.
  • Provide detailed handover briefs on all customer supply chain, ensuring seamless communication.
  • Conduct stock picking and return to stock activities as required, ensuring efficient inventory management.
  • Perform general logistics duties as needed, supporting the smooth operation of our logistics and supply chain processes.
Requirements:
  • Significant demonstrable experience in logistics operations, with a strong understanding of process development.
  • UK Full driving license, with a good understanding of calibration management principles and processes.
  • Demonstrable experience working in a commercial environment, with leadership skills and the ability to take initiative.
  • Knowledge of aviation logistics and its key principles, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service to internal and external customers.
  • High level of verbal and written communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail and adaptability.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with analytical thinking and the ability to identify problem roots causes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, with the ability to constructively challenge, collaborate, and think tactically and strategically.
