Store Operations Manager

As a Shift Leader at Tesco, you will be responsible for overseeing the store's operations, ensuring a seamless customer experience, and leading a team of colleagues to achieve exceptional results. Your primary focus will be on coordinating store activities, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate store operations, including receiving, stocking, and replenishing merchandise.
- Manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts and minimizing stockouts.
- Lead a team of colleagues, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback to ensure excellent customer service and store performance.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve store efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics and supply chain, to ensure smooth store operations.
- Monitor and maintain store appearance, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers.
- Manage store budgets, controlling expenses and optimizing resources to achieve business objectives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and other stakeholders to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience in a retail or customer-facing environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, vendors, and other stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
