Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer to join our team at Primis. As a key member of our software development team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Playwright and Appium
  • Identify and document bugs, collaborating with QA and dev teams to resolve issues
  • Create and execute test cases to ensure software functionality and quality
  • Implement automation test frameworks to streamline testing processes
  • Conduct non-functional testing to evaluate software responsiveness, scalability, and reliability
  • Design and execute load and stress tests to ensure software performance
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices

Requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience in software testing, with a focus on automation
  • Proficiency in modern automated test frameworks and tools
  • Web application testing experience, with knowledge of REST APIs and non-functional testing
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and Agile methodologies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • EPOS systems/hospitality industry knowledge
  • Mobile/desktop automation testing experience
  • Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
  • Docker container experience
  • Azure Cloud
  • ISEB/ISTQB foundation certificate
