About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to join our team at Teva Pharmaceuticals. As a key member of our Site Services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective maintenance of our site's electrical and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, examine, repair, and monitor all electrical and mechanical aspects of the site's logistic and automation systems, warehouse, and offices in a safe and timely manner.
  • Implement and monitor all aspects of electrical and mechanical work on site, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and legislation.
  • Oversee contract work and issue work permits to contractors working on site.
  • Manage routine maintenance schedules and ensure that all relevant compliances are met.
  • Ensure Safe Working Procedures (SWP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) are in place and adhered to.
  • Recommend remedial actions as necessary to ensure compliance with HASAWA, PUWER, and Electricity at Work Regulations.
  • Accurately record data in the Hexagon EAM database.
  • Treat all information as confidential to the organisation.

Requirements

  • Served a recognised electrical or mechanical apprenticeship.
  • Sound knowledge of The Electricity at Work Regulations, HASAWA, and PUWER.
  • Electrical or mechanical site-related work experience within a maintenance-based role.
  • Past or current career experience within a PLC environment is preferred.
  • Management experience of external contractors and supervising contractors.
  • A full UK driving licence.
