About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Technician to join our team at Teva Pharmaceuticals. As a key member of our Facilities and Site Services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our site's electrical and mechanical systems, as well as maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, examine, repair, and monitor all electrical and mechanical aspects of the site's logistic and automation systems, warehouse, and offices in a safe and timely manner.
  • Implement and monitor all aspects of electrical and mechanical work on site, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and legislation.
  • Oversee contract work and issue work permits to contractors working on site.
  • Manage routine maintenance schedules and ensure that all relevant compliances are met.
  • Ensure Safe Working Procedures (SWP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) are in place and adhered to.
  • Carry out any other duties reasonably requested by the Facilities and Site Services Team Lead/Operational Managers.
Requirements
  • Served a recognised electrical/mechanical apprenticeship and 18th edition qualified.
  • Sound knowledge of The Electricity at Work Regulations, HASAWA, and PUWER.
  • Electrical/Mechanical site-related work within a maintenance-based role.
  • Past/current career experience within a PLC environment would be preferred.
  • Management experience of external contractors and supervising contractors.
  • A full UK driving licence.
