Job Title: ESOL Tutor

Leicestershire County Council is seeking a passionate and creative ESOL tutor to join our team. As an ESOL tutor, you will be responsible for teaching English as a second language to adults in a variety of settings, including our centres in Market Harborough, Loughborough, Melton Mowbray, and Coalville.

About the Role

We are looking for a tutor who is able to teach a range of ESOL levels, from beginner to advanced. You will be required to deliver lessons that are engaging, interactive, and tailored to the needs of our students. You will also be responsible for assessing student progress and providing feedback.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach ESOL classes to adults in a variety of settings
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Develop and deliver lesson plans that meet the needs of our students
  • Work collaboratively with other tutors and staff to ensure a high-quality learning experience for our students
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong passion for teaching and a commitment to delivering high-quality education. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
