Key Responsibilities- Lead and develop a team of Area Managers to drive operational excellence
- Analyse shift performance and implement actions to improve efficiency and productivity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
- Design and deliver initiatives to enhance operational performance
As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading shifts at one of our operational sites. You will work closely with various teams, including finance, safety, and operations integration, to drive innovation and improvement. Your day will be filled with meetings, data analysis, and mentoring your team to achieve excellence.
About the TeamAmazon's Transportation Service (ATS) team is a diverse and dynamic group that plays a critical role in our success. As part of ATS, you will be part of a team that uses air, sea, and road transport, as well as sortation centres equipped with the latest technology, to drive efficiency and innovation. Our team is committed to safety and sustainability, and we use data to drive decisions.
Requirements- A degree
- Relevant experience in people and stakeholder management
- Advanced proficiency in verbal skills and intermediate proficiency in the local language
- Relevant experience in using data to influence business decisions
While not required, experience in Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen techniques, as well as working with the MS Office suite, is highly valued.
