Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Damage Controller to join our team at Dawsongroup plc. This role will be responsible for ensuring the optimal maintenance and repair of our assets, minimizing damage and downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Damage Prevention and Control: Obtain updates, escalate issues, challenge costs, and potential delays to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance.
- Compensation and Invoicing: Manage compensation claims, raise invoices, and issue order numbers to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions.
- Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain up-to-date records on the maintenance and rental system, and draft specific reports, letters, and emails for internal purposes and to suppliers and customers.
- Liaison and Communication: Liaise with manufacturers, dealers, and suppliers to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
- Administrative Skills: Excellent administrative skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate and timely record keeping and reporting.
- Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills and a professional telephone manner to ensure effective liaison and communication with stakeholders.
- Technical Skills: Computer literate with experience of using Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook to ensure efficient and effective administrative tasks.
- Time Management and Organization: Ability to prioritize tasks well in a busy environment and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Industry Experience: Prior experience of the transport or automotive industry would be advantageous, but not essential.
