Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve revenue targets
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation, prospecting, and networking
- Build and maintain relationships with potential clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions
- Collaborate with our marketing team to develop and execute sales campaigns
- Work closely with our pre-sales consultant to develop and deliver customized demonstrations and proposals
- Manage the sales process from lead to close, including contract negotiation and closure
Requirements
- Proven track record of successful sales of ERP or accounting software to the mid-market
- Consultative solutions sales approach
- Ability to develop and maintain an active pipeline of net-new qualified prospects
- Strong understanding of accounting functions and ability to communicate effectively with financial decision-makers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
