Position Overview:

The role involves overseeing and managing building control systems, maintenance initiatives, and maintenance personnel for assigned properties. The position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, along with participation in the Weekend Duty Manager Rota. Compensation is set at £57,768 annually.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the activities of the planned maintenance team
  • Diagnose issues, perform repairs, adjustments, and other maintenance tasks
  • Manage, monitor, and update building maintenance and access control systems
  • Assist in the development and execution of planned maintenance schedules
  • Ensure service areas, plant rooms, and inspection cupboards are maintained to the highest standards
  • Supervise staff to uphold exceptional service quality

Qualifications Required:

  • Completion of an apprenticeship in mechanical or electrical engineering
  • Experience with electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems in large facilities
  • Strong ability to motivate team members, communicate effectively, and handle high-pressure situations
