About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Supervisor at our Greggs store in Bruton. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the shop, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting the Shop Manager in achieving sales and profitability targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate a team of retail staff to deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales targets
  • Assist the Shop Manager in managing the shop floor, including opening and closing procedures, stock management, and cash handling
  • Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to drive sales growth and customer engagement
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of store appearance, including visual merchandising and cleanliness
  • Collaborate with the Shop Manager to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to drive business growth
Requirements
  • Previous supervisory experience in a retail environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
