Role Overview

Join our KYC Team at Barclays Bank UK PLC, where you will focus on acquiring, completing, and maintaining all necessary regulatory KYC documentation for our investment banking clientele. Your responsibilities will encompass portfolio oversight, evaluating KYC refresh requirements, and scrutinizing KYC data provided by clients or sourced from approved public channels. You will be accountable for upholding a high level of precision throughout all phases of the client assessment process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain effective communication with internal teams and external clients, ensuring a professional demeanor and delivering exceptional client service while handling sensitive client information.
  • Engage in critical skill assessments relevant to the role, including KYC experience or equivalent expertise in financial services, superior time management, and the capacity to manage multiple high-quality tasks concurrently.
  • Exhibit additional competencies in stakeholder management, organization, and communication, which are highly regarded in this position.

Purpose of the Position

To facilitate the bank's decision-making processes by providing timely, accurate, and insightful information through the design, development, and maintenance of management reports and dashboards that effectively convey key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends across various business units.

Accountabilities
  • Design and develop comprehensive reports and dashboards utilizing various data visualization tools and techniques.
  • Implement automated report generation processes to enhance efficiency and timeliness.
  • Identify and analyze business requirements to define report content and format.
  • Maintain and update existing reports and dashboards to reflect evolving business needs, including coordinating reporting template releases and related administrative tasks.
  • Develop robust processes and controls for collating input data and obtaining necessary approvals.
  • Engage with stakeholders as required to ensure current data is integrated into reporting.

  • Guide and persuade team members while communicating complex or sensitive information.
  • Act as a contact point for stakeholders outside the immediate function, fostering a network of contacts beyond your team and the organization.
