Job Title: Aesthetic Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team at Omega Resource Group. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering, installing, maintaining, and servicing conveyor systems across the UK and occasionally internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with client site and health and safety procedures at all times.
  • Adhere to method statements and risk assessments on-site.
  • Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly.
  • Deliver goods and arrive on-site on time.
  • Collaborate with clients and subcontractors to ensure satisfaction.
  • Problem-solve on-site and use initiative to resolve customer queries directly.
  • Provide accurate reports to line management using company procedures.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and adhere to the Company Vehicle Policy.
  • Obtain customer sign-off on completion of assignments and provide training on conveyor use and maintenance.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Relevant mechanical or electrical installations and repairs experience is essential.
  • Energetic and enthusiastic attitude with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
  • Willingness to learn new skills as the role evolves.
  • Availability for work-away assignments across the UK and occasional international travel.
  • Flexibility for variable shift patterns, including night work, weekend work, and double shifts.
  • Excellent practical and mechanical skills, including the ability to use power tools.
  • Permits to operate powered access equipment and scaffold towers, with experience working at height.
  • Full driving license with minimal points.

What We Offer:

  • Overtime rate paid at 1.5 times the hourly rate after 10 hours within the working month.
  • Working away bonus of £75 per night, plus a Premier Inn and meal deal.
  • Cost of living bonus of approximately £250 per month after completing a 3-month probation period.
