Job Title: Solution Product Manager
Job Overview:
The Automotive Line of Business at Arm Limited is responsible for driving customer and partner engagement activities in the automotive market segment. Our mission is to grow demand for Arm's current products and services while defining and leading the creation of next-generation solutions. We achieve this by working closely with sales and Field Application Engineers (FAEs) to engage our partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stay up-to-date with CPU, Systems, and Software technology trends, as well as automotive market trends and customer needs, by collaborating with our partners.
- Translate customer and market feedback into solution requirements to inform the future Arm Compute Subsystem, CPU, GPU, ISP, Systems, and Software roadmap.
- Develop and execute solution strategies for the deployment of Compute Subsystems, CPU, GPU, ISP, Systems, and Software products.
- Lead all aspects of the solution life cycle, from definition to release, in collaboration with the engineering, marketing, and sales teams.
- Create collateral, including presentations and white papers, to showcase solutions and their applicability to customer applications.
- Build and manage collaborative relationships with Arm's external partners, working with Account Managers (sales & FAEs) to secure adoption and design wins for Arm products and solutions.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Electrical/Computer Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of CPU, SoC, System, and Software technologies and trends within the embedded and automotive semiconductor market.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel to meet with customers and colleagues.
Nice to Have Skills and Experience:
- Experience in automotive electronics or automotive systems and software.
- Good understanding of Functional Safety for Automotive or Industrial electronics applications.
- Experience working in or directly with Automotive Tier1 or Tier2 electronics suppliers.
- Demonstrable product management experience and customer interaction experience.
- Experience in owning product strategies and defining roadmaps.
- Experience of customer interaction of a technical nature.
