The Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to support the running of our busy kitchen. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen operations. You'll also play a crucial role in training and developing our kitchen staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and food preparation
  • Support the running of the kitchen, including food safety and hygiene
  • Train and develop kitchen staff, including new recruits and existing team members
  • Source high-quality ingredients from local suppliers
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to deliver exceptional service

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen
  • Excellent culinary skills, including menu planning and food preparation

  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Passion for food and a commitment to delivering exceptional service
