About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Loss Specialist to join our Central Operations team at Boots. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving down losses in our stores and process fails upstream in the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Process Loss Manager and Warehouse leadership to identify and implement process improvements to reduce losses.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of our Central Tagging Operations and identify opportunities for growth and efficiency.
  • Work closely with Trading, Supply Chain Planning, Stores, and Finance teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of our business objectives.
  • Manage stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Review and analyze weekly and monthly loss KPIs and dashboards to inform data-driven decisions.
  • Pre-empt and address potential problems to minimize losses and ensure business continuity.
  • Support the Tagging Team Leader in achieving their targets and provide guidance and challenge as needed.
  • Ensure effective communication with the Central Operations Leadership team to keep them informed of progress and challenges.
  • Collate and analyze data to inform business decisions and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Develop a Central Tagging Plan for the future, including strategies for year 2 and 3.
  • Embed a new tagging process that is fully adopted by different teams within the business.
  • Work with external suppliers to implement new technology and provide feedback to ensure seamless integration.
  • Utilize data analysis tools, including SAP, Power BI, and Excel, to provide insights and recommendations for business growth.
  • Collaborate with Store teams to understand their work and identify opportunities for expansion and maximization.
