Cargo Warehouse Operative Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cargo Warehouse Operative to join our team at Aviation Recruitment Network - Heathrow. As a Cargo Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for loading and unloading air freight cargo pallets, building and breaking down aircraft pallets, and scanning cargo and completing airfreight documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading air freight cargo pallets using a forklift
  • Building and breaking down aircraft pallets and storing them in warehouse racks
  • Building cargo onto aircraft units to airline specifications
  • Scanning cargo and completing airfreight documentation
  • Performing other warehouse duties as required
Requirements:
  • 6 months or more experience working in a cargo warehouse environment
  • Ability to load and unload parcels between 15kg to 25kg
  • Manual handling skills and ability to work in a manual environment
  • Ability to work a 4 on 2 off shift pattern, including day, mid-day, and night shifts
Benefits:
  • Competitive hourly rate of £12.00 p/h for day shifts and £13.00 p/h for night shifts
