Retail Store Leader

Heron Foods is seeking a dynamic Store Manager to lead our Workington store to new heights. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, inspiring and motivating your team, and fostering an environment where everyone can excel.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead by example and demonstrate strong leadership skills to inspire and motivate your team.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth and improve customer satisfaction.
- Manage and develop your team, providing coaching and training to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
- Monitor and control store operations, including stock management, inventory control, and cash handling.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
- Collaborate with the Area Manager to develop and implement business plans, and achieve sales targets.
- Experience as a Store Manager or in a similar retail role.
- Proven track record of achieving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of retail systems.
