Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring that their needs and expectations are met.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of projects, ensuring that all tasks and activities are completed to the required quality standards.
  • Manage and coordinate the work of project team members, including engineers, technicians, and other support staff.
  • Develop and implement project management plans, including project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating any risks or issues that may impact project delivery.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the company's business operations and goals, ensuring that project delivery aligns with these objectives.

Requirements:

  • Degree level qualified in an appropriate discipline (Earth or Environmental Sciences, or a related field), ideally with a relevant MSc degree.
  • Attention to detail and self-management skills.
  • Willingness to travel and a full UK/EC driving licence.
  • Cost forecasting and project programming skills.
  • Knowledge in the preparation of specifications and industry standard forms of contract (ICC/NEC/JCT).
