About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our thriving community pub in Failsworth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and developing a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of staff to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth
  • Develop and implement business plans to improve sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the pub, including inventory, stock control, and cash handling
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and local stakeholders
  • Monitor and control costs, including labor, inventory, and utilities

About the Pub

The Dog & Partridge is a community pub with a large beer garden and a strong team in place. We are looking for a General Manager who can build on the great work already completed, drive weekly and monthly activity, and maximize Red Letter Days.

There is live-in accommodation available in the form of a 3-bedroom manager's flat, with lounge, kitchen, and separate office.
