Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing professional and efficient service of air compressors and ancillary equipment to our customers. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To promptly carry out servicing and maintenance on customer equipment.
  • To effectively diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on customer equipment, both in the field and in the workshop.
  • To carry out Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) and commissioning of new equipment.
  • To install new equipment and pipework, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • To identify required parts to effect repairs, utilizing our extensive inventory and supply chain network.
  • To complete job reports accurately and return them in a timely manner, providing valuable insights for our team.
  • To plan and organize daily and weekly visit schedules, ensuring maximum efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • To participate in the on-call rota, providing 24/7 support to our customers.
  • To maintain test instruments, ensuring they remain in good working condition.
  • To perform ad-hoc tasks as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will have current experience in repairing, servicing, and installing air compressors, dryers, N2 systems, pumps, and pipework. Additionally, you will possess a full clean driving license and be able to work at heights.
