Junior Lift Engineer

At Orona UK, we specialize in the design, production, installation, maintenance, and modernization of lifts, escalators, moving ramps, and walkways. We are currently seeking motivated individuals with backgrounds in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering to join our expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to embark on or advance their careers in the lift engineering sector. Our Transferable Skills Programme is designed to equip you with the essential knowledge and experience needed to become a proficient Lift Engineer.

You will receive comprehensive training from our seasoned Lift Engineers and Technical Department, gaining insights into our company and industry standards. As you progress in your learning, you will have the opportunity to enroll in the NVQ Level 3 course in either Lift Installation or Maintenance.

To be considered for this Programme, candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, demonstrated through education or relevant work experience.
  • Preferred qualifications include:
    • Level 2 Foundation Course in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering,
    • Level 2 Performing Engineering Operations,
    • BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • The ability to adhere to instructions and maintain safety protocols at all times.
  • A strong desire to learn and develop new skills.
