Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead our team in delivering electrical designs for a range of complex electromechanical systems. The ideal candidate will have a background working in the energy sector and experience in people management. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the design of all projects
  • Preparing, checking, and approving associated engineering documents
  • Participating in sales contract reviews and internal design review meetings
  • Ensuring Engineering Change procedures are implemented thoroughly
  • Leading the investigation, resolution, and documentation of Engineering problems
  • Ensuring workload planning is accurate both individually and within the team
  • Managing the electrical workshop

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • BEng (Hons) or MEng Engineering
  • Extensive electrical or electro-mechanical system design background
  • Experience working at Senior/Principal/Management level
  • Strong people management skills
  • Confidence writing specifications for scopes of work
  • Experience leading design projects within multi-disciplinary teams
