About the Role

The Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Revenue and Property Team as a Revenue and Property Officer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the rent accounts of residents in temporary accommodation to ensure maximum benefit uptake and reduced levels of rent arrears.
  • Visit customers in their temporary accommodation and communicate with them by telephone to discuss their rent accounts and provide support.
  • Meet with service users to complete the necessary paperwork for their temporary furnished flats, including occupancy agreements, Housing Benefit applications, and explaining tenancy rules and responsibilities.
  • Work closely with the Property Management Team, Property Allocation team, and external agencies to ensure positive outcomes for service users.

Requirements

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work enthusiastically as part of a fast-paced team.
  • Problem-solving skills and computer literacy.
  • Experience of Housing Benefit legislation and debt management is desirable.
  • Ability to maintain attention to detail and accuracy while working in a high-demand environment.
  • Good time management skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
