Quality Assurance Lead

Role Summary

The primary objective of this multifaceted position is to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and best practices in the delivery of educational programs, including Apprenticeships and Higher Education. This encompasses the management of academic quality and standards, oversight of educational data, and the enhancement of our client's educational offerings.

As a Quality Assurance Lead, you will interact with various regulatory frameworks, ensuring compliance with established guidelines. You will also assist in student compliance processes and collaborate on diverse team initiatives.

Key Information

  1. This is a full-time, permanent position.
  • Competitive salary range of £35,000 - £38,000 per annum.
  1. Flexible working arrangements – the option to work remotely up to approximately 90% of the time, with occasional travel for team meetings and inspections.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented quality assurance professional to join a dynamic and supportive team. This position is suitable for:

  1. Individuals with a background in apprenticeships from a quality assurance perspective, possessing an understanding of relevant regulations, or
  2. Professionals with quality assurance experience and regulatory knowledge in the higher education sector, who are open to training in apprenticeship standards.

You will excel in this role if you possess: the ability to interpret complex regulatory documents and apply them effectively within an organization; experience in collaborating with senior management; and familiarity with inspections and external audits.

This position will be a good fit for you if you have:

  • Knowledge of regulatory expectations (OfS/QAA/ESFA/Ofsted)
  • A solid understanding of current quality assurance and enhancement challenges in higher education, along with the ability to implement best practices
  • An understanding of how to apply General & Academic Regulations for Students in higher education
  • Experience in a quality-focused environment.
