Job Overview

Heriot Brown In-House Legal Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Lawyer to join our client's team on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Law Specialist to provide expert legal guidance and support to the business, driving commercial success and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Management: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, with a focus on technology, telecommunications, and procurement agreements, including SaaS and PaaS.
  • Intellectual Property: Advising on intellectual property matters, ensuring the protection of rights related to new technologies and innovations.
  • Commercial Advice: Offering solution-oriented legal advice that aligns with the commercial objectives and business needs of the company.
  • Compliance: Staying informed about developments in data protection laws and ensuring compliance within the company's operations.
  • International Collaboration: Collaborating with stakeholders across different jurisdictions, managing cross-border legal issues, and applying relevant legal frameworks.
  • Business Innovation: Supporting the company's mission to innovate by exploring and advising on new technologies and connectivity solutions.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of post-qualification experience
  • Strong background drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, either in-house or private practice
  • Happy with occasional travel in the South East
