Accounts Assistant Opportunity

TPF Recruitment, a leading accountancy practice recruitment agency in Kent, is seeking a skilled Accounts Assistant to join a fantastic firm of chartered accountants based in Ashford. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for providing financial support to a varied portfolio of clients across Kent.

  • Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts for incorporated and unincorporated clients in various sectors.
  • Perform bookkeeping tasks and prepare personal and corporation tax computations and returns.
  • Support the Manager with ad-hoc project work for clients and liaise with clients regarding their accounts and queries.
  • Mentor junior team members and assist with their queries.
Requirements
  • AAT Qualified or studying, or ACCA/ACA studying, or qualified by experience with a minimum of 2-5 years experience within practice.
  • Experience with Iris, Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero is advantageous but not a prerequisite.
  • Must have experience of preparing bookkeeping or accounts in an accountancy practice environment.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary of £23,000 - £30,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
