About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our kitchen team at beBee Professionals in Cardiff, United Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management.
  • Supervise the kitchen team, ensuring smooth operation during service and maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene.
  • Develop and implement effective inventory management and ordering systems.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Take charge of the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef, ensuring seamless continuity of service.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role, with a strong track record of success.
  • Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene practices.
  • Creativity and passion for cooking with fresh, high-quality ingredients.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or higher preferred).
