Physiotherapy Team Lead - Outpatients Job Role:
As Team Leader, you will manage the day-to-day running of the Outpatient physiotherapy team to ensure effective staffing levels in order to provide high-quality patient care while meeting the needs of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the physiotherapy team across multiple outpatient areas.
- Oversee and plan the 6-day working rota in Outpatient Physiotherapy.
- Provide highly skilled and specialized assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients within the outpatient service.
- Take a lead role in physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patient caseload.
- Provide education and teaching to the physiotherapy group.
- Ensure the team delivers effective physiotherapy by providing appropriate clinical leadership and educational and development expertise.
- Participate in audits and quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and team performance.
- Contribute to the development of the physiotherapy department and the hospital group.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Physiotherapy Team Leader or in a similar leadership role.
- Strong clinical leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
- Knowledge of quality improvement initiatives and audit processes.
- Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures.
