About the Role

As a Multi Skilled Engineer, you will play a vital role in maintaining and improving the efficiency of our production equipment. You will be responsible for both reactive maintenance tasks, addressing any immediate issues that arise, and planned maintenance activities to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting routine inspections, repairs, and overhauls on a wide range of mechanical and electrical equipment within our dairy production environment.
  • Diagnosing and resolving equipment faults promptly and efficiently to minimize downtime and ensure product quality.
  • Implementing preventative maintenance strategies to reduce the likelihood of breakdowns and extend the lifespan of machinery.
  • Collaborating with other engineers and technicians to share knowledge, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize maintenance procedures.
  • Adhering to strict safety protocols and industry best practices to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience as a Multi Skilled Engineer within a fast-paced manufacturing or production setting, ideally within the food processing industry.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including pumps, valves, PLC's, and other industrial equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling clear and concise communication with colleagues and supervisors.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and professional development within the field of engineering.
