Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Implementation Specialist to join our team at Quantum Motion. As a key member of our software development team, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining the software necessary to control our quantum processing units (QPUs).

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop robust software solutions from the ground up, ensuring timely delivery of projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software with quantum hardware and emulation tools.
  • Develop and maintain a user-facing programming interface, defining requirements and ensuring seamless user experience.
  • Contribute to the development of software best practices, including unit and integration testing.
  • Work closely with the team to identify and implement demonstration algorithms, leveraging expertise in quantum systems and software development.

Requirements

  • PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or a related field, or MSc in Computer Science, Physics, or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in Python and/or C/C++ programming languages.
  • Demonstrated understanding of software development principles, including testing and benchmarking of quantum systems.
  • Familiarity with at least one quantum instruction language.
