Sodexo is seeking a highly skilled Technical Services Manager to join our team in Central London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the electrical and mechanical services that Sodexo manages at our international client office location.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your previous experience in a similar client-facing role to effectively manage all Hard Services operations, delivering effective Maintenance services into M&E and Building Fabric to fully meet both contractual and Statutory requirements during normal working hours.
About the Role- Manage all Hard Services operations, including electrical and mechanical services.
- Deliver effective Maintenance services into M&E and Building Fabric.
- Meet both contractual and Statutory requirements during normal working hours.
- Work closely with the client to ensure that their needs are met.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Hard Services operations.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of all Hard Services operations.
- Facility Management experience covering an appreciation of risk assessment techniques.
- Preferably experience in building services and a working knowledge of plant engineering.
- HND or NVQ or equivalent in a relevant subject.
- Control of annual budgets relating to all site Hard Services expenditure.
- Successfully delivering against contractual targets, PM schedules, and KPIs.
- Delivering against contractual SLAs.
- Experience of delivering a service provision on a site where strong permit to work systems are in place.
- Membership to the Institute of Safety and Health (IOSH) or equivalent.
- Practical knowledge of word processing and spreadsheets.
- Fully aware of relevant Health and Safety and general legislative matters.
- Ability to advise, negotiate, and influence.
- Effective people management skills in terms of performance management, teamwork, motivation, delegation, and discipline.
