As our portfolio of care facilities and hospitals expands across the UK, this position is crucial for fostering the ongoing commercial success of over 260 care homes nationwide.

Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Must be a qualified accountant (CA/ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or possess an equivalent qualification
- Experience in a multi-site organization is preferred
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines with excellent communication skills
- Proficient in internal systems and Microsoft Office applications
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Barchester CapEx approval framework and the Capital Team
- Ensure robust financial controls and procedures are established for capital invoice payments
- Maintain and update the Group Fixed Asset Registers, including disposals and vehicle capitalizations
- Prepare Fixed Asset Grids
- Oversee financial management of significant capital projects, including new developments
- Supervise the preparation of the Group capital budgets
- Provide weekly capital budget reports to operational teams
- Prepare monthly Capital & Development Reports
- Account for annual property revaluations
- Prepare fixed asset disclosures for statutory accounts
- Facilitate the preparation of information for CapEx Committee meetings
- Collaborate with external audit and tax teams
- Complete Capital Expenditure National Statistics Returns
