Mechanical Maintenance Specialist

As part of our ongoing expansion, NES Fircroft is looking to enhance our Workshop team by recruiting skilled Mechanical Maintenance Specialists to execute comprehensive repair, refurbishment, and assembly tasks on various drilling apparatus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in risk evaluations and participate in toolbox discussions
  • Conduct all operations in a secure manner
  • Perform Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) in accordance with company protocols
  • Ensure accurate completion and timely submission of timesheets and inspection documentation
  • Execute quality control assessments at the Goods In stage as necessary
  • Report and take part in the examination of any unsafe practices or behaviors
  • Propose enhancements to operational methods and NES Fircroft product offerings
  • Adhere to all local waste management regulations and procedures
  • Be proficient in operating forklifts, overhead cranes, and vertical lift platforms (after receiving training)
Qualifications:
  • Possess an NVQ Level 3/HNC or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering
  • Have a solid understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Experience in conducting pressure tests (both gas and liquid)
  • Exhibit knowledge of mechanical systems
  • Ability to interpret schematic and layout diagrams
  • Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal
