About the Role

MWH Treatment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to join our team and contribute to the success of our Southern Water framework on the Burham site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Project Manager in developing and implementing the project management strategy to ensure effective and efficient project delivery.
  • Collaborate with the project team to produce and manage the contract programme, monitor progress, and provide regular reports.
  • Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of project components.
  • Work closely with site management to resolve design and procurement issues and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Assist in the preparation of construction completion and takeover documentation to ensure a seamless handover.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate technical aspects of the project with MWH engineering and supply chain partners.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement, and work with stakeholders to implement changes that enhance project outcomes and minimize risks.
  • Collaborate with the Project Quantity Surveyor to develop cost plans, monitor project out-turn costs, and report on any variations or potential issues.
Requirements
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience in project management, preferably in the water treatment industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to changing project requirements.
