Environmental Enforcement Officer for Staffs/Derby

About the Role:
We are seeking an Environmental Enforcement Officer to support our clients' customers in the Staffs/Derby areas. The successful candidate will work closely with customers to educate them on best practices and prevent sewer misuse. This role requires daily visits to customers' premises, identifying potential sources of misuse, and advising accordingly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visiting and inspecting customers' premises to identify possible sources of sewer misuse.
- Educating customers on best practices for grease management and informing them of their legal obligations.
- Building relationships with customers to positively influence their behavior and encourage compliance.
- Gathering information on site and submitting it for enforcement consideration where necessary.
- Working in compliance with company health and safety standards.
- Recording daily activities on the company's CRM package.
Requirements:
- A confident communicator with excellent customer relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently, managing time effectively to deliver results.
- Experience working with customers and managing relationships.
- Proficient in MS Office and able to learn new systems.
- A clean UK driving license is essential, as the role will involve working across several areas in the region.
