About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Environment Manager to join our team at a renowned food manufacturing company based in Spalding. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading our health, safety, and environmental initiatives to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement HSE strategies to drive a proactive HSE culture across the site
  • Coach and mentor the HSE Co-ordinator to ensure effective performance
  • Provide environmental focused advice to the site, ensuring compliance with environmental permits and regulations
  • Ensure all HSE legal requirements, policies, and procedures are interpreted, communicated, and documented
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Health, Safety, and Environment management system
  • Design, implement, and monitor site HSE performance, analyzing trends and developing action plans
  • Identify and coordinate HSE training and development for managers
  • Investigate and record incidents, identifying and recommending improved practices to reduce accidents
Requirements:
  • Prior HSE experience at managerial level or senior level
  • High risk, fast paced manufacturing or high risk industry experience ideally in or related to food, beverage, paper, or packaging
  • NEBOSH Certificate, ideally Diploma
