Nuclear New Build Business

We are rapidly developing our teams to support the delivery of the next phase of New Nuclear Build. Our Nuclear New Build business is focused on supporting major stakeholders in the nuclear sector in achieving the new build renaissance.

As a Senior Engineer in our Nuclear New Build business, you will be focused on new nuclear power station design and providing engineering support whilst plant is being commissioned and operated in startup or test modes. In this role, you will be expected to provide design analysis in support to construction change, and so a background in equipment engineering (such as Mechanical, Piping, HVAC, Electrical and I&C) will be desirable.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver a pipeline of work that helps us grow and then deploy capable staff as our clients' projects move from construction through commissioning and pre-operations into operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable legislation and regulations.
  • Develop a strong safety culture commensurate with nuclear and high hazard industry standards.
Requirements
  • Previously experienced in Operational Roles and/or Operational Support Roles at operational Nuclear Power Plants (ideally PWR technology plants), or another highly regulated industry.
  • Experienced in the construction, commissioning, pre-operational or operational environments with a strategic awareness of international best practice and operational focus.
  • Experienced in the maintenance and outage environments for operational facilities, bringing a strategic view of international best practice and the execution of work.
  • Motivated to apply a mixture of technical and operational expertise to develop the right skills in our teams to support our clients in the latter stages of major nuclear new build projects and into the operational phases.
