About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Policy, Public Affairs and Campaigns Manager to join our team in Northern Ireland. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping our policy and public affairs strategy, developing and implementing campaigns to drive change, and representing the MS Society in Northern Ireland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement policy and public affairs strategies to advance the interests of people affected by MS in Northern Ireland.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including politicians, policymakers, and other influencers.
  • Design and deliver effective campaigns to raise awareness and drive change on key issues affecting people with MS.
  • Represent the MS Society in Northern Ireland at key meetings and events, and provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Work closely with our MS community to understand their needs and priorities, and ensure that our policy and public affairs work is informed by their experiences.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in policy and public affairs, with a strong understanding of the political and policy environment in Northern Ireland.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective strategies and campaigns.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering results and achieving goals.
  • Passion for the work of the MS Society and a commitment to our values and mission.
