ER Specialist Opportunity

Hoop Recruitment is partnering with a prestigious Welsh-based client to find an experienced ER Specialist. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly supportive HR team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full employee relations process, providing expert advice and guidance on ER matters.
  • Recommend and implement solutions for various HR challenges.
  • Identify and introduce process improvements within HR operations.
  • Support the HR team with ongoing projects and organisational initiatives.
  • Proactively manage and mitigate risks related to employee relations.
  • Foster and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including trade unions.
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are regularly updated and aligned with best practices.
  • Analyse and report on HR metrics, trends, and people data to support decision-making.
Key Requirements:
  • Strong HR background with proven experience in handling complex ER case management.
  • Ability to manage a diverse workload and deliver high-quality outcomes under pressure.
  • Flexible, proactive, and solutions-focused with a can-do attitude.
  • Experience working with trade unions is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional influencing skills and the ability to engage at all organisational levels.
  • CIPD qualification is desirable, but not essential.
