Lunchtime Supervisor

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and orderly conduct of students in designated areas, including the dining area. This will involve undertaking direct supervision, assisting with daily decisions, and supporting students who may require assistance.

Additionally, the candidate will be expected to deal with minor incidents and first aid where necessary, and refer serious incidents to the Senior Lunchtime Coordinator or Principal.

The role will also involve cleaning up spillages or debris around the dining/play areas to maintain good order, discipline, and safety.

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the educational, social, and welfare needs of pupils in the midday break, and be able to work effectively with people across a wide range of levels and responsibilities.

They will also have good organisational skills, the ability to encourage and inspire young people, and a professional approach to liaising with parents/carers.
