About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and organized Ward Clerk to join our team at The Dean Neurological Centre. As a Ward Clerk, you will provide administrative support to the wards, including updating service user information, managing the ward diary, and minute taking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the admin team with general administration and provide clerical and typing duties
- Manage, organize, and update relevant data using database applications, including electronic rostering systems
- Maintain and update filing and record-keeping systems
- Update information, including primary nurse lists and ward posters
- Answer and direct calls as required
- Assist wards as needed, including typing duties, stationery, and recording service user medical appointments
Requirements
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to respond to changes in service and adapt to new situations
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Organize and prioritize own work within established procedures

The Dean Neurological Centre provides specialist 24-hour nursing and therapy services for people with complex long-term neurological conditions. Our team delivers rehabilitation, tracheostomy, and ventilator care, with a focus on maximizing individual abilities and comfort.
