About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Number Fifteen Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and developing strategic relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting and Team Management: You will report to the Director/Office Head and manage the New Business Team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • New Business Development: You will identify and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on profitable new build work and residential conveyancing.
  • Relationship Management: You will maintain and develop existing business relationships, ensuring a strong presence in the market.
  • Target Setting and Achievement: You will work closely with the Director/Office Head to set and achieve targets, identifying areas for growth and improvement.
  • Networking and Expertise: You will establish yourself as a subject matter expert on our company's services and areas of expertise, building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Conversion and Performance Monitoring: You will monitor conversion levels with introducers and address areas for improvement.
  • Marketing and Strategy: You will collaborate with our Marketing Team to discuss market strategies and future projects.
  • Additional Responsibilities: You will carry out other duties and responsibilities as required, including helping Fee Earners with sourcing new business and achieving targets.
Requirements
  • Understanding of New Business Operations: You must have a strong understanding of the importance of new business operations within a legal environment.
  • Initiative and Discretion: You must demonstrate initiative and maintain discretion in your work.
  • Track Record of Success: You must be able to evidence a successful track record of achieving new business success.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Pressure Management: You must be able to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
  • Target Driven: You must be target driven and focused on achieving results.
  • Team Player: You must be a team player with excellent communication skills and enthusiasm.
  • Organisation and Adaptability: You must be highly organised, methodical, and adaptable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sales Background: Ideally, you will have a background in sales and a strong understanding of the sales process.
  • SLA Management: You must be able to oversee and ensure that SLAs are met for each introducer.
  • Analysis and Reporting: You must be comfortable analysing reports and data and using our case management system.
  • Liaison and Communication: You must be able to liaise with Fee Earners/Office Heads and other stakeholders to discuss relationships and capacity levels.
  • Referral Fee Management: You must be able to oversee referral fee payments, checking and arranging payments as required.
