They are currently in search of a skilled Construction Site Supervisor to join their team, responsible for managing the daily operations of construction projects within a specified region.

The organization serves a diverse clientele across various sectors, including affordable housing, food services, retail, education, commercial enterprises, industrial projects, and healthcare.


ROLE OVERVIEW:
As a Construction Site Supervisor, you will be tasked with:
  • Coordinating and effectively directing both in-house site personnel and subcontractors.
  • Planning and scheduling all site activities while managing labor resources.
  • Collaborating closely with the Project Manager to ensure that work progresses according to the established timeline, with a focus on cost management.
  • Addressing any challenges promptly and devising corrective measures.
  • Providing regular updates and leading progress and subcontractor meetings.
  • Upholding the organization’s high standards of quality and safety, in partnership with the Health, Safety, and Environmental Team.

This is a permanent, full-time position requiring a commitment of 45 hours per week, with flexibility as needed.


CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience in site management, particularly in housing, commercial, and industrial projects.
  • The ability to plan all facets of construction operations and develop comprehensive construction schedules.
  • A thorough understanding of construction processes and strong commercial acumen.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and team management skills.
  • A friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with colleagues, contractors, clients, and other stakeholders.

While an academic qualification (HNC, HND, or Degree in a construction-related field) is advantageous, it is not mandatory. Additionally, candidates with current qualifications and training such as SMSTS, First Aid, Black Managers CSCS card, asbestos awareness, working at height, and scaffold inspection will be preferred. A valid driving license is essential.
