About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bespoke Furniture Designer to join our design team at Painted Bespoke Joinery LTD. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating bespoke joinery projects in collaboration with our Head of Design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with our Design Team and Project Managers to deliver work in a timely manner.
  • Work within Solidworks SWOOD to create joinery based on plans or survey data.
  • Represent Painted Bespoke professionally on site when necessary.
  • Read and understand complex Joinery or Architectural drawings, listening to feedback from our workshop team to ensure drawings are accurate and reflect best practice.
Requirements
  • 2-3+ years of professional experience in a bespoke environment.
  • Detail-Oriented – The detail matters to us and our clients.
  • Technical understanding – Fully fluent in Solidworks & SWOOD.
  • Conscientious – If something isn't right, you won't let it leave the workshop.
  • Diligent – Keen to not just meet deadlines but improve upon them where possible.
  • Team Player – We need someone who will work with our team, listening to feedback from all team members where appropriate.
Qualifications and Experience

Minimum – 2-4 years of experience in a Joinery design environment. Ideally with 2 years of experience in SWOOD specifically, however we will consider outstanding candidates who have only used base Solidworks.
