Armstrong Vinton Furniture is seeking a skilled Draughtsman to join our team in Southwest London. As a Draughtsman, you will be responsible for creating accurate production quality drawings for bespoke furniture and joinery.
Key Responsibilities:- Draft detailed drawings for the manufacture of high-end furniture and joinery.
- Conduct site surveys in London and surrounding areas, as well as occasional international locations.
- Collaborate with clients, designers, and project managers to understand project requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotes.
- Support estimators and report cost variations.
- Experience in joinery with a focus on high-end bespoke furniture.
- Proficiency in drafting software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
- Extensive knowledge of materials, finishes, and hardware.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Willingness to work overtime as required.
- Experience in project managing and delivering joinery packages with a value of £100k or more.
- Full-time, permanent position with 28 days holiday per year.
- Competitive wages based on experience, with overtime available.
