SEN Teaching Assistant - Psychology Degree

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic graduate or psychology student to join our dedicated team as a SEN Teaching Assistant - Psychology Degree. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for working with children who require additional support.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide support to class teachers within the classroom, assisting children with SEND/SEMH needs on a 1:1 and small group basis. This role is ideal for graduates looking to gain experience ahead of their chosen career or further studies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing support to class teachers within the classroom
  • Assisting children with SEND/SEMH needs 1:1 and in small groups
  • Working closely with children who are non-verbal
  • Supporting pupils in and out of lessons
  • Monitoring and recording interventions
Requirements

We are looking for a hardworking graduate or psychology student with strong academics and a passion for learning. Previous experience working with children and SEN/SEMH needs is essential. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are also required.
